From Bryan Bertino, the sophisticated filmmaker who gave us the decent and solidly horrifying home-invasion thriller The Strangers back in 2008, comes another suspenseful thrill ride that intensifies your fear of the dark and driving late nights.
The Monster, formerly titled as There Are Monsters, tells the story of a mother (Zoe Kazan) and her strong-willed daughter (Ella Ballantine) who gets caught up in a car accident on an emergency late night road trip. As they desperately try to seek for help, they soon realize that they are not alone.
The film also stars Scott Speedman, who worked with Bertino in The Strangers.
The Monster is now available exclusively on DirectTV and will then arrive in US theaters and VOD on November 11.
