It has long been speculated from Disney-Pixar fanatics with unusually sharp visual powers that the characters from Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Cars, Up, Inside Out, and other Pixar pics all live under one cinematic universe.
Theories and screenshots circulated the web showing clues and Easter eggs from these films that provide subtle references to other beloved movies in the Pixar docket. One great example is the Toy Story Pizza Planet truck that shows up in just about every film, as well as the number A113. Disney never really had the chance to say something about this connection. Until now.
Earlier this week, the studio surprisingly posted a video on the official Toy Story Facebook page that reveals how all the Pixar films are connected. And boy, are we in for some treat.
The two-and-a-half-minute footage not only shows the easy-to-spot Easter eggs from Ratatouille, The Good Dinosaur, Brave, and more, but also those clues from blink-and-you-miss-it moments from these animated flicks. Watch the video below and prepare to have your mind blown away.
I may have already seen some of these Easter eggs in the past, but it’s the inconspicuous clues that really surprised me and had me grinning from ear to ear. I mean, who would’ve thought Riley from Inside Out made a cameo appearance in Finding Dory? Or that motorbike from Ratatouille became part of a pile of trash in Wall-E? Certainly, not me. But they did, and with this revelation, we can only expect more Easter eggs coming from the next wave of Pixar movies.
What did you guys think about this exciting revelation? Have you known some of these Easter eggs before? Which part of the video really surprised you? Sound off your thoughts in the comment section below.
